Advice and support

So many of us struggle in silence. But there are many services and opportunities locally to get the support we need to balance work and family life.

Finding someone you trust to talk to when you need support around managing money, debts and benefit eligibility can be really hard. When we talked to local families and partners in 2019, lots of people said that they would really like somewhere local to go to get advice on money matters, managing bills, applying for benefits and so on. We have started an online service called the Money Advice Clinic to offer this service.

For the future, we are working with project partners including Powys County Council and Pobl to consider how we can deliver a face-to-face service.
